A look in CREATIONISM

"It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts." --Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes)

This is how creationists and fundamentalists seem to think about scientific evidence. They have their belief (theory), and they see something in the real world (fact) that they twist into their proof of God, even though that fact proves nothing of the sort.
